***Immediate Start***Day Rate Between £350 and £450 DOEWe Build Recruitment are now looking to recruit a Health and Safety Manager on behalf of our client, a leading engineering company based in the North West.The role of the Health and Safety Manager is to provide advice and support on health 'safety matters to the site management team with the aim of operating a zero accident and incident site.Responsibilities:Attend Daily Activity Briefing (7.30 am) and provide advice to the management team with regard to:The effectiveness of RAMS and PtWs for the days’ works.Any client requirements to be considered and managed.Contractor and Contractor/Client interfaces to be managed.Deliver client Site Inductions, if requested by the Site Manager.Conduct Daily Site Inspections, in the morning and afternoon:Following each inspection, issue a list of Corrective Actions required to the Site Manager.In the first instance, review and advise on any changes required to RAMS received from sub-contractors and for company activities.Comments to be submitted to the Site Manager using company RAMS Review Form.RAMS to be submitted 5 working days before works commence.Review Permits to Work, before issue by the Site Manager, and works commence.Assist in the preparation and maintenance of effective project emergency response arrangements.Attend weekly client meeting (9.30 am every Thursday).Requirements:IOSH CertificationNEBOSH CertificationValid CSCS card
