PE Global is currently recruiting for a Senior Clinical Genetics Lead for a leading multi-national Biotech client.This is an initial 9 months contract position offering fully remote option with occasional travel to events.Daily rate is £352.10 PAYE or £415.88 UmbrellaDuties of the role/Responsibilities Develop a genomics strategy for a late-stage therapeutic expansion programmeIndependently drive research within larger multi-functional teams/contextLead a team of contracted scientists to define key questions around business needs/timelines, develop scientific approach to address needs, and deliver insights within complex and high urgency timelinesCommunicate and contextualise findings to wider business, external stakeholders, and health authorities in order to influence thinking internally and externallyPrepare study synopses, protocols, study reports and regulatory documents to support development processDevelop publication strategy and oversee manuscript writingEducation/Experience PhD in statistical genetics or a related field and 5+ years of experience working in pharmaceutical industryEstablished reputation in the field of statistical genetics – with a recognised expertise in building and deployment of polygenic scoresExperience independently leading research projects, particularly those using clinical trial data or other regulated setting,Management experience of internal team members or teams of external contractorsThe ability to engage with internal and external partnersA clear track-record of communicating science through publications and conference presentationsStrong critical, scientific, and strategic thinking skillsInterested candidates should submit an updated CV.Please click the link below to apply, alternatively send an up to date CV to ***Please note our client cannot assist with any visa sponsorship and candidates must have the correct visa to live and work in UK***
