Employment Law Fee Earner – YorkSalary: Up to £55,000 plus benefitsAre you an experienced Employment Law specialist looking for a new challenge in a supportive and down-to-earth team? We’re working with a well-established regional firm that is looking to recruit a skilled Employment Fee Earner to join their busy Commercial team at their Clifton Moor office in York.This is a fantastic opportunity to manage your own high-quality caseload covering the full spectrum of employment law matters, with the autonomy to develop client relationships and make a real impact in a growing team.About the RoleYou’ll work on a wide range of both contentious and non-contentious matters, including:Contracts of employment and service agreementsDiscrimination and whistleblowing claimsDisciplinary and grievance proceduresSettlement agreements and negotiationsTUPE transfers and restructuringUnfair dismissal and wrongful dismissal claimsEmployment Tribunal preparation and advocacyRedundancy advice and workforce reorganisationThe team is small, collaborative and highly regarded, and you’ll be given the support and flexibility to thrive. What We’re Looking ForA strong background in Employment Law – typically 5+ years’ experience as a Solicitor or Legal ExecutiveConfidence handling a diverse caseload and advising both employers and employeesA commercial mindset and practical, solutions-focused approachExcellent communication and client care skillsSome experience in marketing or business development would be a bonusAbility to work independently as well as part of a supportive teamFlexible Working & LocationThe role is based at the firm’s modern office in York, with free parking available.
