Job Title: Site Supervisor – Power Transmission InfrastructureLocation: Between Inverness and Aberdeen, ScotlandEmployment Type: Full-time, PermanentSector: Civil Engineering / Power & Energy InfrastructureAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Supervisor to join a major infrastructure project focused on the upgrade and reinforcement of critical power transmission lines between Inverness and Aberdeen. This is a key role within a high-profile civil engineering scheme that supports the UK’s transition to a low-carbon future by enabling more renewable energy to flow across the national grid.As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily on-site operations, ensuring all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and standards.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate site activities, including subcontractors and direct labourEnsure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standardsManage site logistics and day-to-day planning of worksCommunicate effectively with site management, engineers, and supply chain partnersMaintain accurate site records and progress reportsContribute to toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety briefingsSupport the implementation of project programmes and deadlinesWhat We’re Looking For:Proven experience in a supervisory role within civil engineering or utility infrastructure projectsBackground in power transmission, substations, or heavy civils is highly desirableStrong knowledge of HSEQ best practices and relevant legislationExcellent leadership and communication skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and project plansSSSTS or SMSTS certificationValid CSCS cardFull UK driving licenceWhat’s on Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageLong-term project stability with opportunities for progressionA key role in a nationally significant energy infrastructure projectAccommodation and travel support may be provided for non-local candidatesSupportive and safety-first working environment
