Role- CAD Technician Salary- £30,000- £37,000 per annum plus benefits (Dependent on experience) Type- Permanent Location- Stafford My client design and manufactures a range of bespoke commercial rooms for a variety of clients. They are looking to take on a CAD Technician, on a permanent basis, in Stafford. The CAD Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:Be Degree/ HND/ HNC qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a similar Engineering subjectGraduate level will be considered as well as those with 2-5 years’ or more of industry experience working in a CAD / design roleGood attention to detailKnowledge of CAD software – Inventor or RevitExperience with Joinery, or any form of woodwork is desirable, but not a necessity Proficient with using Microsoft Office programmesExcellent communication skillsAbility to work well alone as well as part of a teamFlexibility to travel as required as a large part of the role to customer sites, both in the UK and abroadSomeone who is keen to progress and develop with a company long term The CAD Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve:Working as part of the Drawing OfficeSupporting both the Projects and Process Engineering teamsWorking to produce drawings using Inventor CAD softwareCreating layouts and detailed drawings in line with standardsKeeping on top of project schedulesChecking and reviewing drawings If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.Many thanks, Premier Group
