This role will involve assisting the underwriting team in achieving key performance targets, including budget and loss ratio objectives. You will contribute to delivering high standards of customer service and underwriting excellence through both open market and online trading platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their underwriting career within a supportive and commercially focused environment.Key AccountabilitiesSupport the underwriting team by maintaining and updating new business quotations in a timely and accurate manner.Issue renewal invitations and process mid-term adjustments in line with underwriting guidelines and service standards.Conduct initial review and validation of quote submissions to ensure completeness and compliance with underwriting criteria.Accurately process policy amendments and endorsements across a range of products.Respond to and resolve queries from clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders in a professional and efficient manner.Assist in the resolution of queries relating to accounts, premiums, and claims, liaising with relevant departments as required.Proactively identify areas for personal development and communicate training needs to your line manager.Operate within your designated underwriting authority and ensure all actions comply with regulatory and internal governance requirements.Adhere to the company’s service level agreements and contribute to maintaining a high standard of operational delivery.Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency, support business development, and enhance overall profitability.
