Solicitor – Complex Injury & Abuse ClaimsGlasgow/Edinburgh (hybrid working)Full Time, Permanent Competitive salaryAre you a qualified solicitor with a passion for pursuing justice on behalf of vulnerable clients? This is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected legal team specialising in some of the most sensitive and complex cases in the sector.A top-tier litigation firm is looking for a Solicitor (1–4 years' PQE) to join their Non-Accidental Injury team, with roles available in Glasgow or Edinburgh. The team handles a significant caseload of historical abuse, criminal injury, and harassment claims. The nature of the work demands professionalism, care, and a high degree of emotional intelligence.As a solicitor in this specialist team, you will:Run complex PI pursuer cases from inception through to conclusion, including litigationHandle cases with sensitivity, independence, and sound judgementAttend court appearances where requiredEnsure client satisfaction while contributing to firm profitability and strategic goalsKeep up to date with legislative changes and promote a culture of excellence across the teamWhat We’re Looking For:1–4 years’ PQE and membership of the Law Society of ScotlandDiploma in Professional Legal PracticeStrong litigation ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaborativelyEmotional intelligence and empathy, with a genuine interest in advocacy for vulnerable clientsA commitment to delivering exceptional client service and outcomesDesirable Experience:Exposure to civil litigation (Court of Session, ASPIC, or Sheriff Court)Experience working with cases involving historical abuse or criminal injuriesKnowledge of running cases to or near proof stageThis is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to build their litigation skills while making a meaningful impact.
