Job title: M&E Supervisors and Site Managers (Full-Time/Permanent)Salary: £45k – 70k including o/t, benefitsLocation: Northwest Based – Nationwide WorkingDL M&E Building Services Ltd undertakes work throughout the U.K. and has experienced continuous growth in the installation of mechanical and electrical services within the commercial building services engineering sector, with a client base which includes some of the U.K.’s biggest names in the banking, leisure, commercial and transport industries.The Opportunity,We are currently looking for both M&E Foremen and Supervisors who have served an apprenticeship in either a Mechanical or Electrical discipline. Applicants will ideally have at least 5 years on site supervisory experience, managing projects with a minimum value of £200K in a variety of commercial settings. However, suitable candidates with relevant mechanical or electrical experience and qualifications, without previous time spent in a supervisory role, may be considered for these positions.You will get the opportunity to run projects ranging from 200k-£5 million. You will manage dynamic teams, working alongside some highly experienced and qualified engineers. Also, as the organisation continues to expand there will be the potential for professional growth and Continuous Professional Development (CPD).The main duties and requirements of these roles include:Planning and managing works on site.Providing continual project updates to your Project Manager.Completing daily site diaries.Taking photographic evidence and recording site activities on Site Audit Pro.Reading, understanding and implementing the mechanical and electrical design.Ensuring the quality of work on site by continual monitoring.Managing site labour and sub-contractors.Ensuring sufficient materials are on site to enable works to progress.Ensuring hire equipment is on site and off-hiring it in a timely manner.Ensuring works are being carried out in-line with programme of works.Liaising with the Project Manager regarding planned dates for commissioning and testing.Completing a good standard of as fitted information.Carrying out toolbox talks and site inductions, where requiredManaging health and safety on site to a high standard.The ability to travel throughout the UK, overnight stays and out of hours working will be required.In return for the above we offer an excellent remuneration package which includes:Competitive Hourly rateOvertime rates, including when travelling50+ hrs per week.Regular available overtime, including weekends, a lot of overtime is availablePaid travel and parkingCareer progression routes through development and trainingWorking away allowance of £15 per evening (untaxed)All accommodation provided when working away, no room sharing and breakfast provided.Van and fuel card for company useMobile phone allowancePensionJob security with an established and respected companyTraining and development in relation to skills/career progression and health and safetyHolidays 20+8 days bank holiday, increasing with length of service up to an additional 5 daysThis opportunity will suit individuals who want to develop and grow withing their career.
