You’ll go to work each day knowing you can make a real difference to the lives of learning-disabled adults.About the roleThis senior management position is an integral part of our organisation's structure, reporting to the Head of Care & Support for the East.As a Regional Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of safe and well-led care and support across multiple locations. Your guidance and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring that individuals we support live fulfilling and valued lives.This role goes beyond traditional management responsibilities. You will support in leading teams of CQC registered managers to enable them to effectively manage supported living locations and residential care homes, and contribute to the strategic direction of our organisation. Your Way strategy, and you will be at the forefront of implementing and delivering on this vision.With a focus on achieving quality improvements across key priority areas in the East you will work closely with the local teams to ensure that they are delivering the highest quality support and constantly looking at ways to improve standards.We are looking for someone who can analyse complex issues, collaborate with stakeholders, and implement effective solutions. The role demands dedication, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead with influence and your contribution will be vital to our ongoing success.About youYou will have significant, recent experience at a front-line management level in the field of learning disabilities in regulated services which may have included being a Registered ManagerYou will have knowledge of legislation and guidance relating to adults with learning disabilities, CQC regulations and Health and Safety issues.You will have proven experience in rolling out quality improvements and raising standardsYou need good IT skills and experience of maintaining records to be a success in this role.Ideally, you will hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or be working towards thisYou will have the ability to lead and guide people and be a role model in all aspects of people leadership especially around managing quality performancePrevious experience of turning around under performing services will be an advantageWhat’s in it for you?We offer a range of benefits.
