To continue building their pipeline and regional success, they are now seeking an experienced Land Manager to identify, appraise, and secure residential development opportunities across Cambridgeshire and the East Midlands . The Role As Land Manager, you will play a vital role in driving the regions land strategy, ensuring we maintain a strong pipeline of sites for short, medium, and long-term development. Reporting to the Land Director, youll work collaboratively across internal departments and external stakeholders to source and progress viable land opportunities. Key Responsibilities Identify and secure land opportunities for residential development (strategic and immediate) Manage relationships with landowners, agents, local authorities, and consultants Appraise sites from both a planning and commercial perspective Lead on legal negotiations and offers, ensuring compliance with company policy Work with internal planning, technical, and commercial teams to assess viability Prepare land acquisition packs for internal approvals Track local plan processes and planning policy changes in target areas Represent the business at public consultations, planning meetings, and industry events Support junior land colleagues and share market intelligence Ideal Candidate Profile Proven track record in land acquisition with a housebuilder, land promoter, or agency Sound understanding of planning, land law, and site appraisal Strong knowledge of the Cambridgeshire and East Midlands land market Confident communicator and negotiator with strong commercial instincts Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously and drive them to conclusion Self-motivated, well-networked, and ambitious Degree-qualified (Planning, Property, Real Estate, or related field) preferred Full UK driving licence required Whats on Offer Circa 60,000 base salary performance bonus Car allowance or company car Private healthcare, pension, and life insurance Clear progression path within a growing regional team The opportunity to work with a 5-star national developer with a strong land investment appetite55b20050-bc17-4e5d-bfce-3c406318dffc
