About the Company Castons, a leading firm in Commercial Management, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic and expanding team. This is a key role that will see you take ownership of a wide variety of exciting projects across sectors such as healthcare, education, and commercial property. About the Role As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will lead projects from inception to completion, directly liaising with clients and delivering cost certainty and procurement advice. You will manage your own workload and contribute to larger project teams, taking responsibility for quality delivery and client satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead and manage multiple construction projects Provide procurement advice, feasibility assessments, and cost planning Manage post-contract work and cost control Chair meetings, produce detailed reports and specifications Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other consultants Deliver excellent client service and build long-term relationships Qualifications Minimum 5 years experience in Quantity Surveying Broad experience across pre- and post-contract QS services MRICS qualified or working toward (desirable, not essential) Required Skills Strong knowledge of procurement processes and standard contracts Effective communicator with excellent report writing and presentation skills Experience in healthcare, education, or commercial sectors preferred Proficient in CostX and Microsoft Office suite Self-motivated, organised, and deadline-driven Preferred Skills Experience in healthcare, education, or commercial sectors preferred Pay range and compensation package Castons offer a comprehensive remuneration package including many additional employee benefits.
