Full Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager/Foreman to join our team. We are looking for someone to work in our team within the M25 predominately and who is enthusiastic, a team player, and is eager to develop their career and knowledge. Excellent time management and leadership skills Business management skills Verbal communication skills Good initiative and logical thinking skills Self-motivated Prepared to travel to various sites across the operating region They will undertake (but are not limited to) some of the following tasks: Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project (or a package), ensuring that the clients specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress, and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs & progress. Liaising with the client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public. Coordinating and supervising construction workers. Ensuring that all staff, sub-contractors, and visitors to the site are appropriately inducted. Motivate, support, and manage directly employed site staff. Procure/purchase materials for each phase of the project. Conduct regular quality and safety inspections on time and with high accuracy, ensuring construction and site safety. Checking and preparing site reports, designs, and drawings. Maintaining quality control procedures. Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise. Assessing and minimising risk across the site. Ensure site security and presentation is always maintained at the correct standard. Helping to secure permits and licences. Working on-site in all weathers, at clients businesses or in a site office. Carry out any other reasonable tasks in accordance with operational needs as requested by your managers. For this role, the successful candidate must be confident climbing ladders and working at height & on scaffolding.
