Denmaur is one of the UKs leading national paper and board merchants, known for long-standing customer partnerships across the print, publishing and packaging sectors, as well as its focus on sustainability. As we continue to grow, were seeking an experienced Group Transport Manager to oversee and optimise our UK operations from our Coalville and Walsall sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategic planning, management and execution of all transport operations across our national distribution network, ensuring compliance, cost-efficiency whilst maintaining our high standards of service. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all transport operations across the group Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies Ensure compliance with UK transport legislation and H&S regulations Manage a fleet of vehicles and external hauliers Optimise routing, scheduling and fuel efficiency Collaborate with warehousing, customer service and relevant supply chain partners Monitor and analyse KPIs to drive performance improvement Oversee transport budgets and cost controls Lead sustainability initiatives within transport (e.g. carbon footprint reduction) You Proven experience in a senior transport/logistics management role Strong knowledge of UK transport regulations and compliance CPC (National/International) holder essential Strategic thinker with strong analytical and planning skills Demonstrated leadership and team management experience Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience with TMS (Transport Management Systems) is preferred A bility to travel between our Coalville and Walsall sites for training, process implementation and holiday cover Benefits Competitive salary Pension scheme and benefits package Career growth within a well-established and respected UK brand Please send a cv to abuxton@denmaur.com or call 01530 275500 and ask to speak to either Andy Buxton or Andy Moore.55b20050-bc17-4e5d-bfce-3c406318dffc
