Material Handler (FLT Counterbalance)All potential applicants are encouraged to scroll through and read the complete job description before applying.Location: Leamington SpaShifts: Continental 4 on / 4 off (07:0019:00 & 19:0007:00, rotating with two days on each shift)Pay Rate: 13.60 per hourContract: Temp to Perm Long-term career opportunities available across multiple sectors worldwideEmpowered Personnel is currently recruiting Material Handlers with valid FLT Counterbalance licences to join a respected and expanding waste and recycling manufacturing plant based in Leamington Spa.This is a physically active, factory-based role (not warehouse-based), ideal for hands-on individuals who enjoy machinery operation and supporting continuous production in a fast-paced environment.Material Handler Key Responsibilities:Operate FLT Counterbalance Trucks across site to transport raw materials, stillages, and finished productsFull training provided on:Clamp attachments to handle bales and load onto automated conveyor systems for sortationRotator trucks to move and tip stillages safely and efficientlyReplenish large containers of chemical solutions used in the production processRelocate materials between production lines and designated storage areasSupport machine operators with material flow and general production assistanceParticipate in weekly machine shutdowns, completing internal and external industrial cleaning of the plant as part of your shift rotaFollow all site health & safety and hygiene proceduresComplete routine documentation and equipment safety checksMaterial Handler Candidate Requirements:Valid, externally accredited FLT Counterbalance LicenceFull UK Driving Licence (essential for internal site vehicle operation)Minimum 6 months experience in a Material Handler, FLT, or production support rolePhysically fit and comfortable with manual handling and active tasksPrevious experience in a manufacturing or recycling environment is preferredWillingness to be trained on clamp and rotator attachmentsAble to commit to a continental shift pattern (4 on / 4 off rotating days and nights)Strong awareness of health & safety procedures and teamwork valuesWhy Join our client as a Material HandlerTemp to Perm opportunity with long-term job securityGain specialist FLT training and broaden your industrial skill setCareer development options across multiple departments and global operationsWork in a well-structured, supportive, and safety-conscious environmentTake on a varied, engaging role thats vital to the production process this is much more than just forklift workReady to build your future as a Material Handler?For further information, please call Empowered Personnel on 02476 620958 or email your cv toTPBN1_UKTJ
