Join a team of elite investigators working at the intersection of science, engineering, and detective work.What You’ll Do:As a Forensic Engineering Consultant, you’ll delve deep into the causes behind some of the most fascinating and high-profile incidents, from boiler fires to mechanical and electrical incidents. This is a career where every case is different and every investigation demands a fresh, scientific approach.You’ll be:Visiting incident sites across the south west to assess damage and gather critical evidenceConducting on-site information, capturing detailed documentation, and observing physical samplesPerforming hands-on dismantling of machinery and equipment to trace the origin of failuresCollaborating with labs and external partners to run tests and simulationsTurning complex data and physical findings into compelling, concise reports for clientsWhat We’re Looking For:A strong honours degree in Electrical Engineering or Chemistry or a related disciplineOn the path to, or already holding, Chartered status in your fieldIdeally a postgraduate qualification (MSc or PhD) in a relevant scientific areaExcellent communication skills, you can explain technical findings to both experts and laypeople alikeA flexible mindset - ready to take on unexpected challenges and fieldwork when neededA few solid years of hands-on, post-degree experience under your beltAbout the Company:Join a globally respected forensic engineering consultancy known for its in-depth investigations and scientific rigour.
