Role: Project Manager Location: Halifax, 2 days per week on site required, non negotiable Duration: Until December 2025Rate: £550.00 via umbrella Overview:We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager with a solid background in the banking or financial services sector, who can lead and coordinate complex projects across multiple stakeholders. This is a critical role requiring exceptional stakeholder engagement, change management, and project delivery skills within a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end project delivery across regulatory, technology, operational or change programmes within the banking environment.Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and met.Manage project plans, resources, budgets and risks across concurrent workstreams.Champion effective change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new processes or systems.Act as the key point of contact between business units, technology teams, and senior stakeholders.Ensure strong governance and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.Identify and mitigate delivery risks while ensuring alignment with regulatory or compliance requirements.Required Experience:Proven experience as a Project Manager within the banking or financial services industry (essential).Strong track record managing stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives and cross-functional teams.Demonstrated experience delivering complex change initiatives, business transformation or regulatory programmes.Excellent communication, coordination and influencing skills.Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).Comfortable working in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.Desirable:Relevant qualifications such as Prince2, PMP, or Agile certifications.Experience in areas such as regulatory change, risk and compliance, trading platforms, digital transformation, or operations.Why Join Us?Be part of a collaborative and supportive project delivery team.Work on impactful initiatives that shape the future of the financial services sector.Gain exposure to a variety of high-profile projects within a well-established banking organisation.Candidates will ideally show evidence of the above in their CV to be considered please click the “apply” button.
