Open to secondment Key relationships: Active Partnerships (APs), Sport England Governance Team, Sports Governance Academy, AP board members, AP leadership teams, charity and local authority partners Active Partnerships are looking for a Programme Lead - Multi-Sports to support the delivery of Sport England's Multi-Sport Activity and Facilities Fund across a dynamic, nationwide network. This is a fixed-term national role focused on coordination, collaboration, and impact - bringing partners together to unlock the power of sport and physical activity for everyone.You'll work closely with Sport England, a network of 40+ Active Partnerships, and a team of regional leads to help turn investment into action - ensuring the funding model is applied locally with integrity, strategic alignment, and a focus on tackling inequality.About the RoleActive Partnerships is a nationwide movement that exists to make active lives the norm for everyone. The network takes a place-based approach to tackling inequalities and creating the conditions that help more people be active, more often.As Programme Lead, you'll play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of the Multi-Sport Activity and Facilities Fund - working across the network and with national partners to support high-quality, inclusive, and coordinated activity.This is a delivery-driven and partnership-focused role, perfect for someone with experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programmes and a passion for community-led change through sport and physical activity.What You'll Be DoingWork closely with Active Partnerships and Sport England to support the overall investment process for delivering the multi-sport investment, including strategic funding and related projects within the Movement Fund.Support Active Partnerships and partner organisations to implement the funding model, enabling targeted local investment.Lead and collaborate with the team of eight regional Multi-Sport Leads to coordinate delivery across the network and drive local impact on facilities.Work with applicants to ensure funding aligns with programme outcomes, providing business and administrative support and quality assurance.Oversee governance and coordinate applications, while working closely with colleagues on measurement, evaluation, and learning.Ensure system and equality partners are engaged in local conversations to add value, encouraging joint working on related projects that enhance community engagement and learning.Analyse funding spend against programme aims and targets, and support the development of data systems to track progress and impact.Collaborate with Active Partnerships and priority places to connect football and multi-sport initiatives, amplifying local outcomes in line with eligibility and investment principles.Establish links to evaluation activities to support the sharing and dissemination of learning across the network.Work with Football Foundation colleagues to identify funding opportunities across broader programmes and within priority pipeline projects.Identify workforce development needs and co-create initiatives aligned with Sport England's workforce plan to strengthen community engagement and promote best practice.Travel nationally to support and connect with Active Partnerships.
