Job Description

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a global manufacturing business on the appointment of a Production & Supply Planning Lead on a full-time permanent basis.As the Production & Supply Planning Lead, you will report directly to the SC Manager and will have responsibility for the production planning function. Among other things, a core responsibility will be to develop forecast accuracy controls and measures in conjunction with regional and commercials teams to drive ongoing improvement plans.Hours: M-F 08:30 - 17:00 (40 hours)HybridPension ContBUPA10% company bonus achievableIn your new role:Lead the monthly S&OP demand planning and forecasting process to enable effective factory scheduling while achieving regional inventory targets.Oversee the execution of the demand plan in alignment with operational and production capacities.Drive robust order management processes to achieve OTIF (On-Time in Full) delivery, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and continuous improvement with a strong customer focus.Manage production planning and scheduling for the solutions factory to ensure adherence to production plans and maintain optimal finished goods inventory across regions.Collaborate with logistics and 3PL partners to support weekly planning and shipment scheduling.Optimise production line capacity, enhancing labour efficiency and minimising changeover times.Implement and monitor forecast accuracy metrics, working closely with regional and commercial teams to drive sustained improvement initiatives.What you will need to succeed:Previous experience in a manufacturing/engineering business, ideally in a regulated industry.3rd level qualification, ideally a relevant degree.Experience in SAP is advantageousUnderstanding of Integrated Business Planning.For a confidential conversation on how Vickerstock can help support you with your next move, get in touch with our supply chain consultant Michael Irwin today!
