Logistics and Operations ManagerWest YorkshireFull-time | Permanent£50,000 - £55,000 Benefits BonusAre you a people-first leader with experience managing logistics and fleet operations ?We’re working with a well established, UK wide logistics organisation to find a proactive and hands on Logistics and Operations Manager to join their head office team.You'll lead the team responsible for managing drivers and fleet, subcontractor relationships, and day to day resource deployment through a bespoke internal system. You'll collaborate closely with operational leaders to forecast needs, respond to changing demands, and continuously improve workforce efficiency.What You’ll Be Doing:Leading a team of 5+ operational managersManaging daily headcount allocation across multiple sitesManaging a substantial fleet Uk wide.Overseeing subcontractor and agency relationships, ensuring service and complianceUsing internal tools and systems to support scheduling and resource forecastingSupporting the development and implementation of strategy nationwideActing as a key stakeholder in service reviews and operational planningWhat We’re Looking For:Experience in fleet management, workforce planning, or logistics operationsStrong leadership and communication skills; confident managing and developing teamsProven ability to manage agency/subcontractor relationships and performanceAnalytical and organised, with the ability to forecast, model, and respond to workforce needsComfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment with shifting prioritiesIf you feel the role aligns with your experience, we look forward to receiving your application / CV.
