Position: Project Manager - Audit & AssuranceThe Project Manager - Audit & Assurance is responsible for overseeing and carrying out, the successful planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects and solutions in alignment with organisational goals.This role requires solid project management skills underpinned by an understanding of end-to-end software development, coding practices (such as tools, languages, libraries, and integrations), various testing methods, and a good grasp of cloud infrastructure and concepts.This role ensures that technical teams work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.The Project Manager - Audit & Assurance acts as a central point of coordination between development teams, quality assurance, technical product ownership, project management, and business stakeholders, facilitating seamless delivery and proactive risk management.Key accountabilitiesTechnical Delivery LeadershipOversee the end-to-end delivery of technical projects, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies and objectives.Lead technical execution, managing technical delivery team resources, project scope, timelines, and budgets to meet quality and performance standards.Ensure technical delivery complies with technical standards, frameworks, and governance practices.Team Coordination and CollaborationCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, quality assurance, product ownership, and the PMO, to facilitate cohesive project delivery.Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business requirements.Manage vendor’s technical delivery components of the project.Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within technical teams.Risk Management and Problem-SolvingProactively identify and mitigate technical delivery risks and challenges to ensure project continuity and success.Address and manage bottlenecks and dependencies across teams to ensure efficient delivery.Proactively escalate significant risks or issues to senior leadership with actionable recommendations.Performance Monitoring and ReportingTrack and monitor project and budget progress using established performance metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders.Ensure complete, accurate and timely delivery of project documentation, including plans, risk registers, budget tracking and status reports.Analyse project outcomes to identify lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement.Process Improvement and InnovationDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance technical delivery efficiency, quality, and scalability.Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform technical strategies.Foster the adoption of tools, methodologies, and automation to streamline delivery processes.CommunicationProfessional communication and personal presentation. Written and verbal communication is professional, clear and timely. Qualifications and ExperienceEducation and Experience· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field;· Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum, ITIL) preferred.· 7+ years of experience in technical project or delivery management, with a strong focus on software development, infrastructure, or related domains, and people managementProven track record of delivering complex technical projects in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.Skills and Competencies· Strong technical expertise in development, quality assurance, and delivery methodologies.· Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.· Effective stakeholder management and communication abilities, with the capacity to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.· Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack).Privacy StatementThe BDO network is coordinated by Brussels Worldwide Services BV (BWS).
