You’ll be instrumental in supporting the full HR function across the business, working closely with colleagues at Head Office, within stores, and across warehouse operations.This role is office based no hybrid working.What You’ll Be Doing:Your role will be varied and rewarding, with key responsibilities including:Maintaining accurate HR systems and employee recordsCreating reports and detailed spreadsheets using Excel (including VLOOKUPs and complex formulas)Drafting job descriptions, person specifications, and preparing engaging job advertsCoordinating the recruitment process: shortlisting CVs, liaising with agencies, arranging interviews, and supporting selectionIssuing offer letters and employment contractsSupporting Hiring Managers throughout the recruitment and onboarding processesLeading company inductions and ensuring a smooth start for all new hiresManaging the HR inbox and acting as a key point of contact for HR queriesAdministering new starter, leaver, and agency staff processesCoordinating and leading formal HR meetings (disciplinaries, grievances, flexible working requests)Producing meeting documentation including invite and outcome lettersEnsuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policiesSupporting the Payroll team with relevant employee dataAssisting in the development and review of HR policies and the employee handbookResponding to reference and data requests promptlyEnsuring personnel files (digital and paper-based) are up-to-date and compliantWhat We’re Looking For:To thrive in this role, you’ll need to bring:Previous experience in a generalist HR positionHands-on involvement across the full recruitment and onboarding cycleStrong Excel skills, including Macros, advanced formulas, and data manipulationExcellent communication skills – both written and verbalA proactive, solution-focused approach with strong attention to detailConfidence to advise and influence managers and employees alikeA solid understanding of current employment legislationThe ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentStrong organisational and time management skillsWhy JoinThey value their employees and offers a supportive environment where you can grow and develop.
