Job Description

Background Atom CTO has been acquired by Teybridge Capital, a fast-growing business providing working capital solutions to SMEs in the UK, Ireland and across Europe. As part of this acquisition, we are currently expanding our London office and are seeking to hire an experienced Business Analyst to work alongside our testing and development teams to gather business requirements and design solutions that will meet the needs of the business. Role Summary The role will involve dealing directly with clients to gather requirements, plan sprints and prioritise the backlog for development. A successful candidate will need to be able to clearly communicate with clients as to timelines and deadlines and have the confidence to talk with and question developers on their own estimates and task breakdowns. You will be working with people from around the globe and amongst different cultures so a successful candidate will need to be able to adapt to the cultural norms and sensitivities of those you are working with. You will act as the bridge between the business and the tech teams and as such you will need to be able to translate complex business requirements to the development teams as well as explain and train the business on the technical solutions that are created. The Candidate You must possess excellent communication, written and analytical skills and must have experience working in multi-lingual and multi-cultural environments. The successful candidate will need to find solutions to business problems, define them in documents and be able to make decisions ensuring at the same time the quality of the product. The minimum requirements for the role are as follows: 3 years experience as a Business Analyst with a proven track record of delivery in a fast-paced environment Logical, analytical and creative skills Advanced English languages skills with the ability to communicate complex business concepts Excellent organisational, time and project management skills Self-development skills to keep up with all the fast-changing nature of the business Good team working and interpersonal skills required to enable working closely with staff at all levels throughout the company Excellent written skills with experience in gathering requirements and writing technical specifications for complex IT projects Demonstrate that they have worked with proven project delivery methodologies e.g. Agile, SCRUM Experience in providing training for IT systems Experience in user acceptance testing Experience in risk / issue management It would be beneficial for the candidate to possess the following: Certification in project management or agile development Experience in FinTech, EdTech, Manufacturing, Logistics, Construction Fluency in the Spanish language (written, spoken) The Pay Salary Range on offer is between 50,000 - 60,000 The Location We have offices in both London and Dublin so the candidate can be based in either city and any successful candidate will be expected to come into the office at least 3 days per week. The Process Selected candidates will go through a 15-minute screening call to verify your background and assess your communication skills be prepared to clearly explain your experience and why you want to join Teybridge. If you pass the initial screening, you will be given a test that you will need to write-up and deliver back to senior members of the tech team, including the CTO. As we are expecting people to manage their own time, we will be expecting you to set your own time limit on how long you want to take to complete the test, and you will be responsible for providing us with a date and time for when you want to deliver it. Once calendars are aligned, you will be given a 1-to-1.5-hour interview where you will present the results of the test, be asked follow-up questions and you will be given the opportunity to ask your own questions. That will then be the end of the process, and we will then deliberate and provide you with feedback within 5 to 10 days.
