The Role Evident is seeking a Project Management Officer, to join our team in a new role, supporting the delivery of our global work within the clean economy. We are open to part time applications for a minimum of 28 hours or 4 days per week. As Project Management Officer, you will support the delivery of change and implementation activities at Evident, by coordinating project activities, managing documentation, and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders. This role is essential for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with company goals and stakeholder requirements. Supported by the Senior Project Manager, you will also play a crucial role in risk management and continuous improvement initiatives to support the successful execution of Evident workstreams. What youll do Key responsibilities of the Project Management Officer are: Assist the Senior Project Manager in the execution of projects to delivery of outcomes aligned with company objectives, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. Define project objectives, scopes, and deliverables while working closely with stakeholders to establish success criteria. Implement and maintain a robust project monitoring system, using project management tools and techniques to track project progress and performance and provide clear, actionable updates to leadership and stakeholders. Drive cross-functional collaboration, ensuring consistent alignment across teams and departments to identify and mitigate project issues and risks. Track and support client onboarding and accreditation activities. About You The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within project led environments and/or in administrative roles supporting project delivery. A good understanding of project management principles, combined with strong organisational skills, will enable them to prioritise tasks effectively, especially when working under pressure. Candidates must also demonstrate: Proven experience of managing complex activities within a customer-facing environment where planning, tracking and issue management are essential. The ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders, demonstrating cultural competence and sensitivity to differences in perspectives, communication styles, and work preferences. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving unexpected obstacles or setbacks that may arise during project activities Some understanding of project management methodologies, tools, techniques and frameworks. Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently. The ability to adapt to changing requirements, deadlines, and new priorities. Package Description Salary: 30K 35K per annum (FTE) depending on experience. Hours of work: Full time, 35 hours per week Monday to Friday with a one-hour lunch break. Location: Sheffield, S10. Hybrid working with 2-3 days per week in the office.
