Sector: Civils, Water Location: Redhill & Surrounding Areas UK. Responsibilities Preparation of contract budgets and cash flows Control of sub contract accounts including : Measuring of sub-contractors work Checking sub contractors submissions Preparation of final accounts Quantification and evaluation of variations Preparation of cost and value reconciliations Attend site meetings General contract administration Preparation of material schedules Preparation of monthly valuations Liaise with MQS on claims issues Be totally familiar with the client brief and act in accordance with that Undertake jobs and responsibilities in a professional and business-like manner Honour client and Adeo business confidentialities To manage a small team of QSs. To carry out appraisals with the MQS or appropriate line manager Requirements Have a minimum 5 - 7 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor before you can be considered for a Senior QS position. Demonstrated that you are able to manage medium sized projects independently (1 5 million). Able to produce a report of actual performance (CVRs) against budget on projects. Able to maximise reclaimable value on a project. Excellent team player whilst also holding the ability to work independently on own initiative Excellent time management skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines.
