Hugely respected and progressive Central London firm is now looking to grow its team by bringing on board an ambitious senior associate or junior partner to join its Court of Protection team in a leadership role. You will join a small team which is responsible for over 60 deputyships and is looking to grow its capacity and profile by bringing on board a talented experienced lawyer. The department has long been a leader in the field, with plaudits and high ranking in the Legal 500. There is a genuine collegiate spirit and collaborative approach to legal practice. The firm benefits from a hugely successful clinical negligence and personal injury practice which dovetails with the CoP team. Your skill set should be based around Deputyships for individuals affected by catastrophic injuries and ideally you will have experience in a wide range of applications to the court covering Statutory Wills, Trustee and gift applications. The department also has considerable knowledge of mental capacity issues and frequently deals with a substantial number of cases involving financial exploitation and disputes. There is no need to come with any deputyships but you should be an experienced practitioner with a skill set in this area of CoP work.
