Transport Manager, close to Halifax, 50k - 57k Are you an experienced Transport Manager looking for your next challenge in a dynamic and growing manufacturing environment? The Business My Client is a well-established, profitable, manufacturing company, known for their commitment to quality, innovation, and exceptional customer service, is seeking a results-driven, highly organised individual to oversee all aspects of their transport operation and ensure the efficient movement of goods across the UK. Key Responsibilities Manage and optimise all transport operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products Lead a team of drivers and a Transport Planner, ensuring compliance with all legal and safety standards Oversee route planning, vehicle maintenance schedules, and daily fleet operations Monitor KPIs and budgets, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvement Ensure all transport activities meet health & safety and environmental regulations Liaise with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth and efficient distribution Maintain accurate transport records and documentation for audits and inspections About You Proven experience (at least 5 years) in a transport management role, in a UK business, ideally a UK manufacturing business CPC holder essential In-depth knowledge of UK transport regulations and compliance requirements Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities A proactive, organised, and customer-focused approach Able to bring a wealth of experience, best practice and innovative ideas to improve the current Able to demonstrate a trend of longevity in previous roles Transport Manager, close to Halifax, 50k - 57k Grosvenor Talent promote equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
