This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to shape and lead strategic procurement activities across multiple large-scale developments. As the business continues to invest in new infrastructure, you will take ownership of the end-to-end procurement process, working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget, and in line with commercial expectations. Key Responsibilities: Lead the procurement strategy across major construction and infrastructure projects. Engage and manage key suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating terms and driving value. Partner with project managers, engineering, legal and finance teams to align procurement with project milestones. Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and industry standards. Mitigate risk through effective contract management and supplier governance. Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and innovation. About You: Proven experience in construction procurement, ideally on capital projects or large-scale infrastructure. Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and contract management skills. Confident managing high-value contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC etc.). Able to influence at a senior level and build lasting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. A proactive, strategic mindset with the ability to lead and challenge the status quo.
