Deputy Manager Childrens Residential Home (2-Bedded) Location: Enfield, London Salary: 38,000 42,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications) Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week on-call duties Were looking for a Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in running a new 2-bed childrens home in Enfield. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a nurturing, therapeutic environment from the very beginning putting childrens needs, safety, and emotional wellbeing first. Your Role As Deputy Manager , youll play a key part in leading the home day to day, ensuring the team delivers high-quality, child-centred care. You will: Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home Help oversee the staff team, including supervision, rota planning and training Promote a therapeutic, structured, and safe environment for the children Lead on safeguarding, care planning and emotional support Work closely with social workers, schools, health teams and local authorities Help maintain compliance with Ofsted and the Childrens Homes Regulations 2015 What Were Looking For Were looking for someone who is passionate about providing safe and supportive care for children and young people. You should have: At least 3 years experience in residential childcare, including supervisory responsibilities A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential) Ideally working towards or interested in undertaking a Level 5 qualification Strong understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed support and emotional resilience Confidence in supporting and motivating others in a care setting55b20050-bc17-4e5d-bfce-3c406318dffc
