Job Title: Senior Mechanical Estimator Location: Cambridge or Colchester Salary: 65,000 Per Annum Package The Role: - Reporting to the Estimating Manager - Preparing enquiries for equipment and specialist subcontract packages including selection of supply chain members. - Attending and contributing at pre, mid and post tender meetings. - Reviewing tender quotes received from suppliers and specialist subcontractors for compliancy and best value. - Liaising with Estimating Manager and specialist subcontractors to ensure fully inclusive bid. - Attending site surveys. - Reviewing documentation for presentation. - Following up tenders and assist with securing projects. - Developing and maintaining professional working relationships with clients and supply chain. - Attending handover meetings with the contracts team once projects are secured. The Company: - A long-established M&E contractor with a strong reputation in the building services industry. - Over 50 years of experience delivering high-quality mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) installations. - Annual turnover of 55m - Works in the commercial, healthcare and education sectors.
