Head of Department / Partner Commercial Property Location: Kingston upon Thames (Hybrid Working Available) Salary: Competitive Excellent Benefits Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Are you ready to lead a dynamic and well-established Commercial Property team in the heart of Kingston upon Thames? Our client, a respected law firm with a strong regional presence, is seeking an ambitious and experienced Head of Department or Partner to take the reins of their thriving Commercial Property department. The Role This is a key leadership position where youll manage and develop a growing team consisting of a Senior Solicitor and a Newly Qualified Solicitor (NQ) . You will be responsible for driving strategic growth, maintaining high-quality client service, and handling a broad range of commercial property matters including acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant matters, and development work. Key Responsibilities Lead, support, and mentor your team to ensure professional growth and strong performance. Manage a busy and varied caseload of commercial property matters. Develop and maintain relationships with an existing and loyal client base. Play an active role in the firms business development strategy. Work closely with other department heads and partners to shape the future of the firm. About You 8 years PQE with solid experience in commercial property law. Proven track record of team leadership or supervision. Comfortable managing and supporting junior lawyers. A commercial mindset with the ability to drive departmental growth. Strong communication and client relationship skills. Ideally already at Partner level, or ready to take the next step. Whats on Offer Competitive salary and bonus structure.
