Job Title: Band 6 CT Specialist Radiographer Location: Preston Working Days: Monday to Friday(with some flexibility required) Contract:At least 3 months Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and competent Band 6 CT Specialist Radiographer to join our dynamic imaging team. This role requires a dedicated professional with expertise in CT imaging and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. The successful candidate must be cannulation trained and have completed all necessary mandatory training. Key Responsibilities: Perform high-quality CT scans on Siemens Definition Edge and Go All scanners, and Philips Ingenuity CT scanner. Ensure all imaging procedures are conducted in accordance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards. Demonstrate flexibility and reliability in providing clinical support to the team. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiographic practices, procedures, and equipment. Requirements: Competence and experience in performing CT scans, including cannulation skills. Relevant professional qualifications and mandatory training completed. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to providing the highest standard of care. Flexibility in working hours and a commitment to meeting the needs of the department. Preferred: Experience with Siemens Definition Edge and Go All, and Philips Ingenuity CT scanners.
