Collect data - manually or by use of a wide range of computer software systems. Handle animals humanely and appropriately for the species. Exercise and socialise animals relevant to the species. Provide animals with food, water, environmental enrichment, housing, etc. according to company standards. Work both individually and as part of a team. Take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of the work that you undertake. Work safely in the Animal House and lab areas, maintaining excellent housekeeping whilst following appropriate safety, environment and risk management systems. Working alongside technical staff assist in the use of a wide and varied range of computer systems including analytical balances to collect data. Assist in the preparation of equipment and formulations. Assist / perform necropsies. Work towards gaining a Personal Home Office Licence.
