As a Midweight UX Designer at the UK’s largest supermarket, you’ll shape experiences that enhance the shopping journey for millions. Your role involves discovering new opportunities and creating intuitive solutions that exceed user expectations, while testing and iterating to improve your work. You will collaborate with UX/UI designers, researchers, product managers, and developers, utilizing our digital design system to craft seamless user experiences across various platforms. Responsibilities include: Designing projects from start to finish, simplifying complex experiences Participating in all UX processes including discovery, wireframing, prototyping, and mapping Partnering with product managers to understand customer problems and hypotheses Advocating for human-centred design and inclusive principles Collaborating across agile teams to enhance digital products Working with researchers to develop empathy and validate designs through testing Using data to inform design decisions Facilitating workshops and producing accessible, high-quality design outputs Contributing to the evolution of the design system Requirements: A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in web, responsive, and native app design Experience in high-profile, customer-facing projects Proficiency with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or similar Knowledge of user research, journey mapping, and testing methodologies Experience in accessible design meeting WCAG 2.1 AA standards Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor others What’s in it for you?
