About the Role: As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, empowering them to live fulfilling and independent lives. You'll act as a mentor to other staff, lead by example, and ensure the smooth running of daily operations. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting residents with their individual needs, including personal care, daily activities, and social engagement. Leading shifts, ensuring care plans and risk assessments are followed. Providing guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Promoting independence and choice while maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Participating in weekend shifts on a rotational basis (1 in every 3 weekends). What we're looking for: Experience working with adults with learning disabilities. Strong leadership and organizational skills. A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to care. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it). Flexibility to work weekends as part of the rota. What we offer: Competitive pay of £13.64 per hour.
