From motorways to tramways, and nuclear power plants to smart cities, clients choose us to help them solve their most complex challenges - delivering climate-responsible growth that meets the needs of communities, industry, and the planet.Were looking for a Finance Reporting Manager to support our Head of Finance Business Partnering in running the finances of Egis UK Consulting and Engineering Ltd, with a headcount of around 60, made up of mainly corporate and shared services staff.We operate a hybrid working model, so you would expect to be in the office on average half of your time, 3 days in the office, and 2 days remote required. The role will be based in our new office in Manchester city centre.Egis in the UK is currently undergoing a period of intensive transformation as we embed a new Operating Model and transition to a new ERP. As such, this role offers the right individual a key opportunity to lead the review and subsequent improvement of finance business processes across all UK subsidiaries.About The RoleYour duties will include those set out below, but there are plenty of opportunities for growth and career development in the group.Managing the financial reporting process, ensuring compliance with group guidelines as well as accounting standards and regulations Stewardship and interpretation of monthly results, and the presentation of the same to the UK CFO and Group Finance Generation of monthly intercompany invoicing and ownership of any resulting queries Balance sheet reconciliations Budgeting and forecasting support To manage the forecasting and reporting on the balance sheet and cash flow Supporting monthly consolidation activities for the UK, including UK P&L from entity inputs Embedding of robust business processes to ensure that all financial reporting is of a high quality and meets the requirements of key stakeholders Acting as the key contact for the region for the Tagetik consolidation and reporting tool Used to working in a multidisciplinary organisationWhats In It For YouBy joining Egis, as well as receiving a competitive salary, youll also have the opportunity to explore flexible working arrangements.Competitive salary Up to 10% Performance-related bonus Pension contribution of 5% of your salary Life insurance Private healthcare for you and your family Health cash plan 26 days holiday (plus bank holidays) Tailored career path with structured training Mentoring from senior staff Hybrid workingWhat do we need from youWhat We Are Looking ForBachelors or above qualifications in a relevant area such as Finance/Accounting ACCA Qualified or relevant preferred Demonstrated experience in a similar position Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and reporting standards Great communication skills, both written and verbal Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines Excellent organisation, administration and interpersonal skills Proactive outlook: hands-on can-do mentality, flexible Proficiency in financial software and the MS Office suite Knowledge of Oracale systems would be usefulWhat's in it for you?We are an Equal Opportunities employer, and we strive to build a workforce that truly reflects the communities we represent.
