Base pay rangeFemale Mental health Support WorkerLocation - Lincoln£12.21 per hourRole Description - Female Mental health Support WorkerGray Healthcare are recruiting a Female Mental health support worker within the Lincoln area of Lincolnshire to support a lady in her 50’s who has a diagnosis of Treatment Resistant Schizophrenia and Frontal Lobe SyndromeThe female we support lives independently in her own home receiving 1:2:1 support 24 hours a day.Her interests include gardening, music, hair and nails, fashion, and cooking especially dishes that feature cheese, her favourite food. She also enjoys spending time in the community, going to the cinema, shopping, and dining out.She will be supported by a female team on mixed shifts of days and waking nightsSupport Worker Required Skills And ExperienceSocial care experience, ideally within Mental health and with some experience of supporting individuals with Schizophrenia. Experience providing encouragement to a person with complex health needs. Experience supporting individuals with behaviours which may be considered challenging. Experience implementing detailed care plans and risk assessments. You must have current Right to Work in the UK and have been employed in the UK for at least 6 months. We no longer have any certificates of sponsorship available and are unable to consider sponsorship. This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory referencesHours36 Contract 3x 12 day shifts per week 8am to 8pm (Alternative weekends)Induction and TrainingWe provide an initial week of training which is a combination of online training. (Company induction, systems, and Medication.) Followed by in-person training on PROACT-SCIPr-UK which is a PBS approach to least restrictive practice, this is a therapeutic and proven alternative to restraint dominate approaches. You will then complete the person-centred training, specific to the person that you are supporting.
