What does the role involve?As a Senior Support Practitioner, you'll balance providing hands-on care with supporting and supervising your team. Your primary focus will be ensuring that every resident receives exceptional, person-centred support while helping your colleagues thrive in their roles.Here's a snapshot of your key responsibilities:Mentoring and Coaching: Supporting your team with training and guidance to ensure they excel in their roles. Delivering Quality Care: Assisting residents with personal care needs, always upholding dignity, respect and privacy. Care Planning: Ensuring residents' care plans are comprehensive, up-to-date and consistently followed. Medication Management: Dispensing medication accurately and maintaining detailed records. This role requires a mix of practical care and supervisory responsibilities, so you'll need to feel confident managing multiple tasks while keeping residents' wellbeing at the forefront.What makes you the ideal candidate?We're looking for someone who:Has experience working in a care home or similar environment. Has experience supervising and mentoring a team (preferred). Holds a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification (or is committed to achieving one). Is compassionate, organised, and ready to take the next step in their career.
