Our client is a UK manufacturer of high-quality branded consumer goods which, due to forthcoming expansion, wishes to appoint a Sales Director to lead growth in the UK and internationally (currently Europe and US focused). The company has been established for approaching 50 years and identifies four sales channels for its three main product lines direct to consumer, corporate, major retail and independent retail.As Sales Director, You Willreport to the MD, responsible for implementation and development of all Sales and Marketing aspects of this vibrant, entrepreneurial organisationensure growth and development of turnover, profit, market share and brand, in the UK and internationallylead the Sales function, working closely with internal senior managementtake full P&L responsibility for all product categories including commercial and contractual activitydevelop the marketing mix, including introducing new products, markets and distribution channelsmanage an impressive client base, ensuring client expectations are delivered and internal KPIs are metlead your sales and marketing teams to implement strategy efficiently and effectivelyAs Sales Director, You Will Becommercially astute, working at a senior level and with a proven record of achievement in a similar multi-channel, sales-oriented leadership role e.g. Sales Director, Sales Manager, Managing Director, Business Development or Commercial Director.
