SEND Teaching Assistant Teesside Up to £500 per week About the role Connex Educationseeks a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant for a Teesside pupil referral unit, starting September 2025. The role pays up to £500 per week and involves supporting Key Stage 3 & 4 students with special educational needs who are at risk of permanent exclusion from mainstream schools. You’ll work with vulnerable young people who have Education, Health and Care Plans, providing crucial support to keep them in education during critical periods. The position requires experience supporting diverse SEN students and genuine commitment to making a positive impact. About the School/Organisation: The school offers a specialist environment with individualised learning plans, therapeutic interventions, and an experienced, supportive team. Assignment Details: This Monday-Friday role provides an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in at-risk learners’ lives within a dedicated SEN setting.
