We are considering different levels and qualifications and are open to candidates looking for part time hours.A mixed tax role, you will be producing advisory work for a varied portfolio of owner managed businesses and supporting the Directors of the tax team.We are looking for individuals with initiative to develop their careers and provide a first class service to our clients in both compliance and advisory areas.Key responsibilities of a Tax Senior/ Assistant Manager / Managerwill include:Review and support to the compliance team responsible for the preparation of personal tax returns for a range of client’s Review and support relating to corporation tax returns prepared by the accounts department Managing a varied portfolio including planning and advisory projects Preparation/Review of capital gains tax computations for inclusion within self-assessment returns, together with completion of 60-Day CGT Declarations to HMRC Preparing/Reviewing ERS and EMI returns Review of forms P11D & P11D(b) and PSA calculations Ad hoc work relating to capital tax reporting, inheritance tax and Estate work Liaising directly with HMRC in relation to enquiries and investigations Supporting and mentoring the more junior members of the team.About YouWe are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:ATT qualified or CTA qualified 5 years’ tax and/or accounting experience within an accountancy practice Good tax knowledge Experience with MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook and CCH accountancy software would be advantageous Strong organisation skills with a problem-solving attitude Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines Motivated team playerFull benefits available for the Tax Senior/ Assistant Manager / Manager :Group life assurance 4 x salary Hybrid working between office and home (following probation) Significant long service awards After 5 years’ service - holiday increasing by one day per each year of service (up to a maximum of 5 days) Social functions and events Access to our employee benefits portal – cashback and vouchers on everyday purchases Employee Assistance Programme Employee Referral Bonus – we’re always looking for talented individuals to join our team Regular training and development - continuous development and support not only for your professional qualifications but also for your personal goals and aspirationsAbout UsTC Group is growing and changing at quite a pace!
