We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and highly motivated, qualified GDC registered Dental Nurses to work within our busy Emergency Dental Service at our Kendal clinic.Sessions are held weekday evenings Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 17:45 until 21:45Saturday ,Sundays and Bank Holidays 08:15 until 12:15This is a bank position and sessions will be offered as and when cover is needed. We need cover predominately more for evening sessionsPlease contactLinda Clark - 01539 739764To provide clinical and clerical support to Trust employed Dental Practitioners Operating in the NCIC Emergency Dental Service.To be the link between the patient and the clinician.To prepare the surgery for the patient and assist the dentist in a range of emergency dental care.To undertake reception duties and carry out administrative and filing duties (either electronically or paper-based) within the Emergency Dental Service within Furness and South LakesSkillsAble to follow instructionsAble to maintain basic recordsDemonstrates willingness to learn new skillsUnderstanding of dental and medical emergenciesAble to work as a teamHigh level of communication skillsAbility to plan own daily workloads as part of a teamManual Dexterity skillAlertSympatheticReliableKnowledge of computer IM & T systems for dental practice administration, e.g. SOEL HealthUnderstanding of local dental services .Additional Communication Skills E.g.
