Job Description

Leading Tour Operator providing group travel across Europe & Worldwide is seeking anItineraries Coordinatorfor their Sports Tours Division due to growth and investment. This Group Tours and Educational Travel Company aims to simplify group travel organization and create memorable experiences. If you are passionate, experienced in operational roles within the Travel Industry, skilled in building relationships with suppliers & customers, and possess excellent organizational and customer service skills, this role could be ideal for you. The starting salary is competitive and depends on experience, with benefits including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, healthcare, and hybrid working (Nottingham). ResponsibilitiesBe the main contact for group leaders, guiding them from booking to departure. Create detailed itineraries, manage timings, and organize visits and meals. Coordinate with accommodation providers for rooming, meals, and special requirements. Manage airline and accommodation updates (e.g., name changes, dietary needs, passenger lists). Respond promptly to queries to ensure smooth planning. Participate in out-of-hours rota during busy travel periods (additional pay applies). Assist with general enquiries and booking administration as needed. Required Skills/KnowledgeProven experience in sports travel and/or group travel coordination (essential). Excellent organizational and administrative skills. Ability to prioritize and remain calm under pressure. Professional and confident in dealing with group leaders, suppliers, and colleagues. Proactive, collaborative, and with a positive attitude. Strong written and spoken English (GCSE grade C or equivalent). Experience in school travel or educational groups is beneficial. Knowledge of key European destinations is beneficial. Language skills in French, German, Italian, or Spanish are a plus but not essential.
