We want to recruit caring and motivated Senior Health Care Assistants to provide the best possible care to our patients. Previous experience of caring for people at home and a commitment to providing care to a high standard is essential.You will have the willingness to extend and develop your skills, and have the ability to apply your knowledge and skills to practice. The successful candidate will be required to work over a 7 day period, and will work as an integral part of a busy forward thinking and innovative Community Nurse Team.This is a community post and requires the post holder to work independently in patients' homes. It is essential that you the ability to transport yourself and equipment across the locality during the course of a normal working day. Travel expenses will be covered by expenses and parking at our community sites is free for clinical staff.We have nursing teams based in the following sites:North Hub- based at Haxby Health CentreSelby/South Hub based Selby Hospital, Tadcaster Health Centre or Sherburn in ElmetEast Hub- Tang Hall ClinicWest Hub -South Hambleton and North RyedaleWe require staff to cross cover for other teams and potentially travel to work from other sites.We currently have positions available in the North Site which would be the successful candidate's main base.About UsFor further information on working for our Trust please visit:BenefitsWe offer a range of benefits to support our staff including:Access to the NHS Pension Scheme, providing generous benefits upon retirement, as well as a lump sum and pension for dependants 27 days holiday rising to 33 days (depending on NHS Trust service) A generous relocation package of up to 30% of salary (capped at £18k) to support with relocation expenses for hard to fill positions where relocation would be an expectation to undertake the role fully.
