Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Job Title: Metal Finishing Technician TraineeLocation: Ramsgate, KEN, GB, CT12 5HE Business Unit: Maintenance & Repair Europe Posting Date: Jul 29, 2025 Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities: Work in the MPBU Metal Finishing section, performing processes such as Chrome, Nickel, Cadmium, Silver, Tin, Copper, Phosphate, Heat Treatment, Non Destructive Testing (Nital Etch), and other related processes. Carry out daily electroplating tasks on various aircraft components, including Cadmium, Nickel, Chrome, Silver, Tin, Copper, and Phosphate plating. Monitor and maintain stock levels of chemicals and consumables. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly control checks. Maintain the 5S standard in the workspace. Ensure quality standards comply with EASA, FAA, and company procedures. Adhere to Environmental, Health and Safety regulations relevant to the plating bay. Skills and Competencies: Numerate and literate, with minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English. Positive attitude with problem-solving skills. Motivated and proactive. Effective communication skills with colleagues and external stakeholders. Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
