Job overviewAn exciting opportunity for a Nursing Associate/Assistant Practitioner within the SMI Physical Health/Clozapine Service has arisen. Working with the Qualified staff and Pharmacy Technicians to ensure that Service Users who attend the clinic receive the appropriate care in a timely and safe manner - whilst providing person centred care. You will be a qualified Phlebotomist with previous experience of working with Service Users who present with mental health needs. Main duties of the jobTo take blood tests as requested by medical staff and ensure bloods are correctly processed within the requisite time limits. The post holder will have recognised, extensive and substantively proven holistic approach to the care of Service Users with significant mental health needs. The nursing associate will be able to demonstrate their enhanced knowledge and extensive experience of mental health to help support other healthcare professionals in a designated clinical environment.
