Role Overview We are currently recruiting an experienced Plasterer for ongoing work based in Newtownabbey. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established construction and maintenance team working across residential properties and public sector buildings. The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of internal and external plastering tasks including repairs, patchwork, and full wall/ceiling skims. You must be confident working independently, take pride in a clean and professional finish, and be comfortable working in occupied properties. Key Responsibilities Skimming walls and ceilings to a high standard External rendering (where required) Patch repairs, making good around electrical/plumbing installations Preparing surfaces, boarding, bonding, and finishing Ensuring a tidy work area and protecting property during works Liaising respectfully with tenants or site supervisors Following all site health 'safety protocols Essential Criteria Minimum 3 years' experience as a plasterer Proven ability to carry out high-quality internal plasterwork Experience working in both new builds and occupied properties Good communication and problem-solving skills Own tools and PPE Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Desirable Criteria Valid CSR/CSCS card Previous experience in maintenance or housing contracts Full driving licence and access to transport Experience with external render systems (advantageous) Benefits Consistent, long-term work Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity to work within a supportive team Weekly pay schedule Chance to gain further experience on public and private sector jobs For further information on this vacancy, or any other Built Environment job in Belfast or wider Northern Ireland, please apply via the link below or contact Glenn Roberts in the strictest confidence.
