This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to expand their generalist HR expertise within a supportive and collaborative team.As a Senior HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, specialist advice and support to managers and staff across the division. Your responsibilities will span all aspects of employee relations casework, sickness absence management, and organisational change. Reporting to the Assistant HR Business Partner, you will be instrumental in delivering a responsive, professional, and efficient employee relations service. Demonstrable generalist HR experience, ideally within a large, complex organisation. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a flexible and adaptable approach. Willingness and ability to travel between sites across Birmingham as required. Manage a diverse caseload of employment matters, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Support the implementation of organisational change programmes. Deliver training sessions to line managers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to handle HR issues confidently. Respond to first-line HR queries from staff via the HR Enquiries inbox and phone system, on a rota basis.
