This strategy seeks to improve clinical outcomes through the development of a high-volume low acuity surgical hub catering for a range of specialties.We are seeking colleagues who share our values and vision to join our team of consultants to enable this to happen. Annually there are approximately 6,500 deliveries, of which 32% were by caesarean section. Over 96% of sections take place under regional anaesthesia. A 24 hour on-demand epidural service is provided. There are two dedicated Obstetric Theatres (24/7) located in the main site theatre suite immediately adjacent to the Central Delivery Suite.
