Job Overview As the Trust evolves to support the education and development of our staff, an exciting opportunity has arisen for proactive clinicians to become Clinical Education Practitioners. This role involves managing portfolios within education, focusing on practice-based education and clinical development, supporting clinical colleagues with induction, career development, and professional needs. Based:Post-holders will be assigned a primary dispatch desk, with locations in Sussex and Surrey, and will be expected to travel across the Trust’s area as needed. Working pattern:Rolling four-on-four-off rota. Unsocial hours paid according to Agenda for Change. Hours of work:Available as full-time or part-time (0.5 WTE), with flexible working options considered. Main duties:Supporting clinicians in their roles, fostering clinical and professional development across education, management, leadership, practice, and research. Responsibilities include: Delivering courses, particularly the Trust’s Key Skills Programme. Supporting learners and colleagues within an allocated Dispatch Desk. Engaging in clinical practice as appropriate to qualifications, including ambulance work, PACCS, call centres, or specialist roles. Participating in scholarly activities like research, community practice, and local initiatives.
