Base pay rangeRole: Child Care WorkerLocation of Role: Lowton, WarringtonRate of Pay: £25,905.73 - £28,410.65 per annum or the pro-rataRole Description:We are currently recruiting for Child Care Workers who will be responsible for providing outstanding care to the children and young people, treating them with dignity and respect.As a Child care worker, you must be optimistic and compassionate about the care you provide, promoting good childcare practices through the provision of a caring environment for the children in accordance with the home’s statement of purpose and function, and in line with Nugent’s core values.Lime Grove Cottage offers accommodation for:Children and young people between the ages of 12 and 17 Children who have experienced trauma, abuse and neglect Children and young people with mild to moderate of learning difficulties, are neuro-diverse and/or have mental health needsThe overriding principle is that the children we care for should have an experience that is as enjoyable as possible, in a safe, healthy and relaxed environment which enables them to reach their full potential.Experience & Skills:Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent) OR willingness to undertake. Experience supporting children or young people who may perceive behaviours which are challenging in a similar setting is desirable but no essential. Ability to recognise and set limits of behaviour and provide controls to emotionally behaviourally disturbed children.
